Two things:

1) I think we need a different acronym for Save-The-Dates than STD

2) I realized this after re-reading my first attempt at a title for this post and saw that it said “STD LOVE”.  That, my friends, is a completely different kind of blog!!!

What I am about to show you is nothing but class, elegance and a bit of quirkiness. Mr. Boddington’s Studio is an eccentric little shop set in the middle of bustling New York City where the elusive Mr. Boddington (be sure to read his bio on the website) comes up with the most adorable, personable and unique correspondence a gal (or guy!) could ask for.  Check below for some lovely inspiration through some recent STD’s …Save-The-Dates of his.  (Hint: The rest of the blog is CHOCK-FULL of exceptionally gorgeous wedding inspiration! DENVER, Colo. (March 1st , 2010) – VOWS, Colorado’s finest wedding collective will give away all expenses paid dream wedding to a deserving Colorado couple. The first of its kind in Denver, the VOWS wedding collective brings the area’s top wedding professionals together to provide future brides and grooms with everything they need to plan their dream wedding under one roof.

Channel Two, the EVERYDAY show hosted by Natalie Tysdal and Chris Parente and its viewers partner with VOWS to help select the couple who deserves a dream wedding – from dress to dining, design to DJ, the selected couple will have everything to create their magical wedding provided by the vendors of VOWS – over 20 of Colorado’s finest wedding professionals!

Last year, we had the pleasure of providing our wedding videography services to capture Aimee and Shawn’s wedding here in Denver. It was a really unique event to say the least! The ceremony was traditional Greek Orthodox held at Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Assumption in Denver. The reception was held at the Hyatt Regency Tech Center in the Denver Tech Center and included performances by the Denver Tyco Drummers and the Colorado Mudra Dance Studio. We had the honor of assisting Lisa and Bill with their sparkling winter wonderland contemporary wedding – they selected an urban setting with Holy Ghost Church as their ceremony, and the Magnolia Ballroom as their reception backdrop.

Amazing florals were designed by the talented Plum Sage Flowers, the colors are so rich and exciting!

These stunning photos are the work of L’Amour D’Avie Photography, set against the urban backdrop of LODO.

The Magnolia ballroom was set with glittering silver tabletops, and silver branches in mirrored vases. Purple and pink lighting greeted guests, and the bride’s paper details were shining!

The bride and groom (with a little help from us!) surprised all of their guests with an performance from a 20-piece Irish bagpipe and dance troup!

We send Lisa and Bill all the love and happiness in their new marriage – love is sweet!

Andrew and I are so lucky! We get to see people on what is quite possibly one of the happiest days of their life…and Liz and Kris were no exception. We photographed their engagement pictures in Breckenridge earlier this winter and soon realized that these two were made for each other. Their zest for life and love of laughter will certainly create many happy memories in the years to come. Liz and Kris were married at the First United Methodist Church in Golden and then danced the night away up at the Boettcher Mansion. Here are some of our favorites from the big day…

Liz started the day with some beautifying at the Golden Hotel. Her gorgeous bridal gown was from Anna Be and I loved her golden ballet flats!

Makeup time…

Liz was so excited when she was getting into her dress…she just kept clapping and saying “YAY” So cute!

Liz clearly got her great smile and infectious laugh from her Mother…love this moment between the two.

Lisa Anderson with Sweet Pea Flowers did a fabulous job (as always) with all of the flowers for the wedding.

We arrived to a winter wonderland up at the Boettcher Mansion. There was a perfect dusting of snow on all of the evergreen trees! It was absolutely stunning!

Liz and Kris were troopers – letting us take a few pictures outside in the snow! Thanks guys!

I love the way Liz is peeking at the camera in the picture on the right.

Occasions by Sandy and Sweet Pea Flowers did a fantastic job of turning the Boettcher Mansion into a dream of pretty golds, ivory and burgundy. The room was breathtaking and the food was even better!

Liz and Kris’ favorite cookies were the perfect substitute for a cake!

A very well choreographed first dance! Love Kris’ expression on the right!

Proud parents…

The last “official” dance of the night was reserved for Liz’s grandparents. I’m not sure who enjoyed it more…the grandparents or the bride and groom. They were too cute!
